Best neighbourhoods for a 3-month stay? Arriving in April

Hayes Valley all the way for a 3-month stint. You're walking distance to everything — coffee, co-working, restaurants — and it's where most of the ANZ crew hangs out anyway. Build House is right there.

I did SOMA for my first 3 months and honestly regretted it. It's convenient for the office but dead on weekends and the streets feel sketchy at night. Would go Hayes Valley or Mission next time.

The Mission is worth considering too if you want more of a neighbourhood feel and better food options. Just avoid the blocks east of Valencia after dark.
